The Sacred Chamber of Conviction
Essentials on Awareness, Knowing, and Remaining Unmoved
Guest Post from Dearly Yours
Most people live as though what they see with their two eyes is the only reality, not knowing that’s the ultimate trap.
The greatest secret of all ages is this: the physical plane is never the cause… It’s always the after-effect. An ongoing, constant playback of what was once unseen.
Because it dazzles the five senses, it’s easy to get sucked into it. We were never taught or exposed to anything beyond that. This gets many to feel locked inside cycles. To think they have no way out.
That weight — those feelings of being stuck — come only when you forget the truth: what you see is already old.
How can you know this for certain? Analyse your entire life. Everything you’ve ever declared (whether consciously or carelessly) has always echoed back in one way or another. This is precisely the reason why patterns seem to emerge and stay, or why you realise wherever you go, you somehow find yourself in the same position as before. The cycles and patterns will keep repeating until you decide to transcend it by no longer identifying with it.
The most freeing truth is that nothing outside of you is lasting. Which means there’s nothing to chase out there. The real work is always inward, making everything we could ever want easily accessible to us in the perpetual nowness.
So the question becomes:
How do you know?
How do you know when you’ve stepped into awareness?
How do you know what conviction feels like?
Knowing Is Not a Feeling
Conviction isn’t an emotion. It isn’t even a sensation. It’s simply something you declare as a matter-of-fact.
When someone asks, “What colour is the sky?” you don’t hesitate. You say, “Blue.” Matter-of-fact. Nonchalant. Normal. That’s what knowing feels like. Not extraordinary, but plain, simple and ordinary.
The paradox to life is that the things that flow are always the things you treat as normal. Idolise them, and they slip away. Normalise them, and they stay.
The Conflict of Appearances
At first, declaring something inwardly while ‘seeing’ the opposite outwardly feels like a contradiction. That’s only because your self-concept is still too rooted in the physical. You’re not looking at the right place! Which is within you. Once you can sense a knowing, a peace and stillness — that essence in itself IS reality.
The concept of reality is simple in nature yet complicated to fully grasp; only because of the ongoing conditioning that the physical plane is ‘real’. We have to un-condition ourselves and truly accept that the physical plane is the show. It’s not the full picture. It’s the lowest plane where existence comes to pass, because it’s what is unseen (our assumptions, perceptions, beliefs) that first informs what our experience is.
A sacred chamber within you is so important. A place you return to again and again. That origin point of stability where you don’t need anything, where you’re not seeking in the plane of effects for ‘confirmation’. A place where you know that your word is final. A place where you know: this is reality.
The Monkey Mind
No matter how “awakened” you are, the monkey mind (or our voice of ‘reason’ that’s so stuck to the five senses!) will still whisper:
“This is impossible.”
“This situation is dire.”
“There’s no way out.”
When that happens, it’s important to be aware that that voice can only recycle the past. It can never tell you anything new!
To fight it is to feed it. To recognise and redirect it, is to dissolve it. You are not the chatter. You are the one who chooses which voice holds authority.
The Golden Point
The golden point is when you move through daily life unbothered by appearances. You still act, you still show up, but the outside no longer defines you. You become INdependent and not OUTdepedent.
From here, you stop chasing outcomes. Because whatever supposed outcome is nothing more than whatever you’ve already declared before; or more accurately, the effects you experience in this tangible realm is a sum total of your dominant awareness. You then stop gripping for control on the outside. You find the freedom to stop bowing to collective beliefs and so-called “realistic” logic.
Instead, you live from Future Now — the unseen reality where everything is already yours. Your eyes, senses, and ‘logical’ mind can only ever operate from Present Past — everything you’ve already accepted until that point.
The magic of life is knowing TRUE freedom is accessible at any moment. It’s always been within you this whole time.
There is no need for techniques, magic tricks, or rituals. Only understanding, application, and consistency. Whatever you accept as true with conviction is already yours. Whatever you identify with becomes your life. Your awareness makes up your experience. The ability to select your perception is power.
